A quasi-coherent thought

“The religion of Japan.” I’m not sure why that phrase didn’t strike me the first (maybe) twenty times I saw that particular comic, but this time it caught my attention, and I thought, “Hmmm, maybe nations and religions really aren’t that different.” Both of them really are based in ideas that eventually become customs. Both are quite often driven by small groups of individuals that have a singular vision of what it means to be part of the whole. And both frequently come into conflict over differences in opinion over (more often than not small, yet seemingly important differences.) Huh. That was entertaining for about 10 minutes.
